Terms of Service

By using War 1792-1815 ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
War 1792-1815 is an online game server for turn-based Napoleonic tabletop wargaming. The Service provides digital umpiring, order management, and bookkeeping for physical tabletop games played with miniatures.
2. Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address to register.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
- The Service offers free and paid tiers. Free accounts include limited game credits per month.
- Paid subscriptions (Veteran Pro) are billed monthly or annually via Creem (creem.io).
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers are notified by email before any price change takes effect.
4. Game Credits
- Game credits (Gold, Silver) are used to launch game sessions.
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
- Unused free monthly credits do not roll over.
- Purchased credits do not expire.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' accounts.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers against the Service.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
6. User Content
Custom scenarios you create remain your intellectual property. By using the Service, you grant us a licence to store and display your content as necessary to provide the Service. We will not sell or redistribute your content.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss resulting from Service unavailability.
8. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
- On termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or AUD $50, whichever is greater.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Australia.
11. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the Service.
